Not for the faint of heart......this is certainly not the worst I have seen, but none the less it is a graphic representation of a horse who is underweight and in peril.
Hamilton is resting comfortably with a lot of hay in front of him tonight. He is happy and perky despite his condition. He is eating well and eating everything that is given to him. He loves his beetpulp and corn oil mixture....no complaints. He also loves carrots and has quickly become a beggar. Of course I give him all the carrots he wants.
